Jensten is pleased to announce the acquisition of Chris Knott Insurance Consultants. Subject to regulatory approval, the deal will introduce a dedicated team of 19 professionals and an office located in Hastings, as well as an additional £6.1 m GWP to the business.
Chris Knott Insurance Consultants is a well-established broker specialising in both personal and commercial lines. The business is best known for its niche motor scheme, focusing on classic cars and owners club vehicles. Additionally, the business is experienced in supporting clients with tailored solutions for small charities, allotments, canine-related activities, and photographers.
This acquisition marks Jensten’s ongoing strategic regional expansion across the UK, enhancing the business’s local presence and its ability to service clients in the London and South East regions. It follows last year’s announcement of Jensten’s acquisition of specialist broker Berns Brett.
Upon integration, the schemes-based niche personal lines business will report into Karl Scott, Managing Director for Personal Lines at Jensten. The commercial lines business will go into the London and South East region, under Regional Managing Director, David Skinner.
